ABOUT

A little more about me...

I am an award-winning journalist with a career that spans diverse roles, locations, and experiences—each one shaping my passion for storytelling. After serving nine years in the United States Air Force, where I gained invaluable experience in both law enforcement and broadcast journalism, I transitioned to the civilian sector with a commitment to continue telling compelling stories that matter.

My first civilian position was as an editor at KPNX in Phoenix, Arizona, where I quickly advanced through the ranks. Over the years, I took on roles as a photojournalist, reporter, and ultimately news anchor, honing my skills in every facet of broadcast journalism.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working in a variety of dynamic environments—from the mountains of West Virginia to the shores of San Diego, and from the snowy winters of Milwaukee to my current role in Cincinnati, Ohio. At WCPO TV9, I anchor multiple newscasts, including the 5 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m., 7 p.m., and 11 p.m. editions.

In addition to anchoring, I am the creator and producer of "Homefront," a weekly series that highlights important issues affecting veterans and their service stories. This project has been particularly meaningful to me, as it allows me to share the voices of those who have served, and bring attention to critical topics impacting their lives.

My career as a journalist has provided me with extraordinary opportunities to interview a wide range of individuals—from Presidents and government officials to local heroes and everyday people facing extraordinary challenges. I have covered stories both at home and abroad, reporting from refugee camps to disaster areas, and capturing the human side of every story I tell.

There is nothing more fulfilling to me than using my platform to inform, inspire, and connect with audiences through authentic storytelling. I am excited about the opportunity to bring my experience, passion, and dedication to your team and continue making a meaningful impact through journalism.

Through strategic partnerships with numerous nonprofit organizations, I have played a key role in raising hundreds of thousands of dollars to fund critical home repairs for community members in need, via People Working Cooperatively. Additionally, my volunteer efforts have helped raise both awareness and financial support for organizations such as the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, Easterseals, Disabled American Veterans (DAV), and a variety of other local community groups.
